TMNT Splintered Fate #1 Release Day!
I have been promoting this TMNT one-shot I wrote for the new Apple Arcade game for a while now. I was the biggest Turtles fan growing up. The movies, animated shows, and video games kept me screaming cowabunga for as long as I can remember.
I will be signing at Collector’s Paradise, Hi De Ho Comics, and Golden Apple today. I’m honored that multiple comic shops will order big and support my work. I hope to see you at one of the three events.
(Yes, I recreated the classic TMNT logo. I am graphic design.)
Next Con: AnchorCon (8/19 & 8/20)
I have rolled back the amount of cons I’m doing this year. A good friend shared their con in upstate New York—and I shared it to support the show. She asked me if I was interested in going, and I was honest about my requests, i.e., the con must take care of travel and lodging. The next day the fine folks at AnchorCon made a generous offer for me to attend this year’s event.
I’m excited to go to Watertown and hang out with the good people of Clayton, NY. I’ve got two panels , and I’ll have a limited amount of TMNT comics for sale. I hope to see you there this weekend.
Here’s my panel schedule:
Saturday: Q&A with HenryBarajas at 11 a.m. Panel Room A
Sunday: HenryBajaras’ “HowToMake Comics” at 1 p.m. Panel Room A
Review: Texas Latino Comic Con
I know, I know. There’s a lot of con talk in this one. But it’s that time of the year when I’m out of town every other weekend. It isn’t very pleasant for my social life. But this is the life of an up-and-coming creative trying to sell comics for a living.
Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up to be comic book creators.
’Cause they’ll never stay home and they’re always alone
Let ’em be English majors and SWers and such
