Better late than never is what I always say!
First things first, I sat down with the creators of Mashbone & Grifty—Rolondo Esquivel and Oscar Garza—an action comedy debuting out of Scout Comics’ Latinx imprint: Chispa. They are a couple of dudes that have a lot of passion and heart, so I hope our gente shows up and supports their big release. Click here to pre-order a copy at your local comic shop!
As always, you can watch the video if you’re a monthly sustaining member for only $8 a month or $80 annual subscription. The Spotify version has musical breaks handpicked by yours truly, or you can listen to LP2 sans music everywhere our podcast is available.
This week’s Gil Thorp is a fun one. Luke Martinez and his assistant coach Paul Kim take a family trip to convince Paul’s cousin to play for their team to beat Milford High. I had a blast writing this week, and I think you will enjoy reading it. Please do me a huge favor and support the strip by clicking this link.
